After seeing so many adds which offer girls in my area and even know what suburb I'm from (or they pick a neighbouring one), I was wondering how do they know?

I'm guessing it's something to do with IP addresses and locations but... not really sure. Anyone know?

I don't get how it works... aren't IP addresses everywhere? Is there something about them which says this IP is from Chatswood or Crestwood?

And no I don't click on it. Not on my work laptop anyway

Yes they use your IP address. The most detailed information they can tell you is the location of your closest exchange point.

yea, what the others said, your IP adress can be tracked back to your ISP, if you wana give it a go urself go to What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address copy paste your IP adress then go to Who.is and paste it there. it should give you all this info about ur ISP and location n stuff.
