For fuck's sake, enough with the Insomnium bullshit.

I mean, take a look at the music he likes. Not everyone likes metal, whether it be nu to black. Not even metal heads want to hear entry-level melodeath. The only bodily reaction it will strike up in him will be cringes, not shivers.

There are a few songs that have the tingly effect on me, but my favourite of these would be 'The Moment I said It' by Imogen Heap.

I was going to suggest Godspeed You Black Emperor but got beaten to it. In that case Yann Tiersen's compositions always get me such as this song -comptine d'un autre été.

Heaven (9/11 version), this is the saddest song ever because of the little girl.
Jeff Buckley - last kiss goodbye and eternal life.

suicide season by Bring Me The Horizon.

Kind of a creepy song, sounds good too though, but the subject matter is really scarily close to how someone suicidal thinks and how suicide effects those around them after they are gone. It hits close to home.

Songbird- Eva Cassidy.

Every single time. I don't think I've ever listened to it WITHOUT shivers.

The first movement of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto no 2 and Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto no 1. They are the most powerful pieces I've ever heard.
