Excel Preliminary English Book HELP! (1 Viewer)

Alright, I'm stuck in a bit of a jiffy here. I bought the Excel English book and I don't have a single clue on how it works. I think I shouldn't of bought the book it's not helping me at all. The contents of the book is the area of study "Control" and 2 text samples for each module based on the area of control.

I am doing journey at school right now, will I ever do control at school?
Is the book supposed to be a sample?

Does anyone have the book or seen it?

I might trade it for another book tomorrow.

if journey is your AOS this year then you will never do control. i would trade it in. textbooks for english tend to be rather useless from my experience anyway.

I've bought the book and I've found it extremely useless IMO. But I'm glad I've bought it second hand here from BOS. Didn't waste that much money. =S

But yeah, trade it with some one and get those summary texts (they're summaries of novels and they give some very useful advise! but very tiny) ------> which is a good thing I suppose.

This. You might as well get rid of it, and go for the excel guide for the topics you're actually studying.

I've bought it on BOS last yr and I don't really know about yr 11 english is going to be the Journey. Or otherwise, I won't buy them.

Your year 11 AOS I believe is dependent on which school you go to. Usually, it's a past or future HSC topic.
