when i first started dating, i remembering saying it within a few weeks.

now i think it'll be a few months (or at least a month) before i say it when i start dating again (unless I was close with the person before dating)

It is so overused these days that it probably doesn't mean as much. Love is a big thing, and people should only say it if they truly know. I think it would be heaps better if it was said alot less by everyone, it would mean more.

The real question is whether you actually like them as a person, they are two totally different things, as loving someone doesn't necessarily mean you like them.

this is exactly what i feel. especially with younger people like 14/15/16. like honestly do you even know what love is at your age?! and i very much dislike when people have been dating for a few days and already they say they "love" eachother. thats so full of shit.

i remember the first time my ex said i love you to me, but i specifically remember i ddnt say it back till a month later when we were actually dating. but funny enough, it was never said face to face THANK GOD.
i dont like rushing into the whole "i love you" scene. when i feel comfortable with the guy, then ill say it. but im not one to throw words around.
