ok anyways back on topic and enough of pointless name calling and flaming.

imo people in the current system people should only be denied entry if they are

A: criminals including terrorists not just the radical Islamic kind who aren't even following their religion by being terrorists (different story)

and B: A XD

But however if they come here they must pay the unfair taxes ,try to obtain citizenship and for goodness sakes find a job and don't live off the already massive welfare system.

btw telling somebody u can't come here just because of their race is sooooooooo wrong ill admit I'm not the biggest fan of other races and telling jokes about common generalisations is fun at times. However I'm not gonna deny them entry or go out and hurt them in any shape or form

Of what I can percieve:

Someone called someone and spoke to someone's sister. That someone got pissed off and the other someone said 'I wont do anythin coz I'm Paki and Muslim'. The someone then gave the other someone their number and now that someone is being accused:D

I think.
Chk Chk BOOM!!!

Omg, Sadiah, that was an awesome set up....

I feel sorry for the Tamils. The sinhalese seem oppressive and heavy handed. If i was voted prime minister i'd let all boat people come in because they are more deserving than some that currently live here.
absolutely true.
have those sri lankans on the boat been let in yet, or were they forced to get off in Indonesia?
It was sad.

I think they kept staying on the boat untill KRudd gave them a deal to get off and come to Aus if they were genuine refugees. Some came to melbourne and some went to Canada and some scandavian country i think. They seemed pretty resilient, i would have let them in after a week if they were that adamant.

Anyway i just saw some of the foreign corrospondant doco, and it seemed like they were being heavily oppressed. There was this tamil guy who spoke some english who attempted to come here on a boat and got caught by the SL navy. And in jail the Sinhalese police officers refered to him as 'Australians' and stated that 'you Australians can eat last' how slack is that. Cunning, but slack.

There are always two sides of a story.

So the new immigration policy will accept doctors and professionals over people who want to learn hairdressing and cooking courses in those vets and tafes.

As an Indian myself I am glad that these bogan indian's visas will be put on the back seat or rejected all together. We neeed our indian community to be filled with intellectual professionals not rowdy young red blooded males who think everything done against them is racist.

What are your opinions on this?
What about Swedish people?

Do you think it is right to restrict working visas to the intelligent Swedish doctors? Should we deny those who still need to learn the right to our country?

In my opinion, I believe the Indian 'bogans' have more of a 'right' to be here as apposed to the Swedish 'bogans'. Australia is a better country than India and it can offer a whole lot more to the less fortunate.

People should not feel sorry for India. I am i=Indian myself and we should not feel sorry for them because we assume they are less fortunate. The Indian government and India as a whole is one of the richest countries economically. It has an enormous amount of money (in the trillion dollar mark). It is growing at the same spped as China. The government has so much money and the question really is why should other countries feel sorry for these people when the government has so much money? If the government spent 10 per cent of its income/ revenue on poverty issues, India would be free rom poverty. I do not feel sorry for India. It is one of the richest nations in the world.

I don't feel sorry for India. I don't feel sorry for anyone.

I am just mearly stating the facts. Citizens of Australia often have more resources and opportunities available for them, apposed to their Indian counterparts.

I totally understand what you are getting at. I'm just venting my frustration about hte Indian government. They have so much money, so many resources and yet thousands of people are trying to leave to come to Australia. India shoulddn't have a lack of resources. People should want to stay in India if only the government were to actually invest in the people and their quality of life.

I'm just venting my frustration about how people seem to believe that some people are aloud to come into Australia, but others are not, purely on their race.

no, he's an indigenous indian. wtf?

on that note, does anyone else think sinhalese look vaguely like aborigines?
Um, not very surprising since genetically speaking the closest relatives to Aborigines are on the Indian sub-continent...
