Not bad for no study (I'm not exaggerating). And I didn't even have a proper teacher for geo all year and didn't write a single word in my book.

Band 6 in everything else except AusHistory.

I did the exact same - worked for me As if Maths study (for the SC) wasn't easy enough already, they give you a formula sheet! All you have to do is take a calculator!

Aren't you doing your HSC this year? Oh well.
Anyways here are some techniques I used:
- For english just brush up on some techniques and make sure you know how to properly answer short answers: Technique->quote->explain the effectiveness->link it together.
- Math: Don't study at all if you it is one of your strong points. I didn't study and I got band 6
-History: still study, you need to do responses
-Geography: same with history
-Science: study briefly on all topics.

The SC isn't hard, you may think you stuffed up some questions but in the end aligning saves you. I studied about <2 weeks before and got all band 6s.

Wow!!!! Good work!!! You probably got 100 in History, just the BOS wanted to smite you.

I'm doing:

Maths 3unit - Scared about but I'm coming 3rd in my year of 190 so going by records I might do OK (you did accelerated?), should be fun though
English 3unit - Looking very much forward to
Chemistry - Should also be fun
Visual Arts - Should be great!!!!
Modern History - Also great!!!!
Physics - Grumble grumble. Will probably drop as I abhore electric-related-work

(Wanted to go for Philosophy in 2010 but failed to realise the completion of an accelerated course is a prerequisite to such in time, and doing an accelerated course in Year 11 would probably be nasty to my studies)

- Anyone else have thoughts on their subjects for this year?

I'm doing 3 maths (dropped out of accelerated - too competitive and they were all coached), although they wanted me to do 3. hahaha i don't like maths teachers, so meh.
3 english - LOVE english
Modern History - yay!!!
physics - I couldn't drop all science and the teacher's great. May drop though
German - good at it and planning to do ext. in year 12.
Legal studies - also may drop.

I was rather proud of my results, considering I had mostly started studying for my year 11 subjects =D. My school is ranked so badly, but none the less, I think I can achieve good marks despite it.
