Used to have to do it every term for PE, and I'm so glad we don't have to any more. I think my best was 12:1 or something, back at the end of yr10? I liked 1.6 better anyway xP

I don't believe this. Either that isn't true or the test wasn't set up correctly. 19.00 is ELITE athlete level.

I got to like 10, maybe 11. But that was at the peak of training/fitness. Nowadays, I'd be happy to get to 8.

marathon runners won't necessarily get the best score. It's measuring your VO2 max. I think if you finish the tape you end up running 4-4500 metres in around 20-22 minutes.

The test also has different distance variants. The most common is 20m but some schools and sports organizations do it over 15m or 25m.

At peak fitness back in high school, i could get around a 12 or 13. I did a beep test last week and got 10.4 (i was coming off a back injury though so i didn't push myself too far, i reckon i could've gotten to 11).

I've been so sick of walking/running lately. Walking to the bus stop, and school and blah blah, it's so repetitious. A hideous walk. Same buildings, same people. I need change. I wish pathways were conveyer belts ~jetsons~ and we'd just stand/sit on them.
