I have met Ostentatious, M@ster_P, and budi tan from BOS at uni. And bumped into my high school friend the other day :) Good times. Also, why is the library surrounded by recycling bins, but no garbage bins??

yeah i did. have they had these strikes before and is it worth coming to uni?

"salary costs saved as a result of the stoppages will be allocated directly to student services on campus" - not bad...

Dear students

You may have seen material distributed around the University by the
National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) indicating that its members
intend to take industrial action at UNSW in the form of 24 hour
stoppages on Thursday 18 March, Wednesday 31 March and Tuesday 20 April.

It is deeply disappointing that the NTEU has decided to take this
action, despite the potential impact on students. However we are
confident that the great majority of staff will be working as usual
and that there will be minimal disruption. The University will
continue to operate normally and we are hopeful that most classes
will go ahead.

In order to minimise inconvenience to students, lecturers will be
asked to advise their Heads of School and their students if they are
not intending to take classes. If you have a query about any of your
classes scheduled for these dates, I encourage you to contact your
lecturer or course/program coordinator.

The University has a legal obligation not to pay any staff member who
takes industrial action. We have decided that salary costs saved as
a result of the stoppages will be allocated directly to student
services on campus.

I reiterate my disappointment that the industrial action is occurring
during term time, which will certainly inconvenience some of you. I
take this opportunity to wish all of you the very best for the
upcoming academic year.

Yours sincerely

forgot, 50 posts per page for moar fun.

If you look young enough I suppose you could pretend to be a first year.

Who knows, you might even pick up a lively young boy/girl
look its more than just business selling txtbooks.

Can anyone tell me where the Math 1131 lecture on Wednesday at 12pm is (not this is not my lecture hence why I can't check my timetable)?

lols at the people in all my lectures trying to connect to uniwide the whole day.

Aren't they labelled as recycling bins, but when you look closer, it says they recycle everything? Including normal rubbish? I know I just chuck normal garbage in there, and everyone else does.
but hopefully people obey these stickers that have been adhered to the back of EVERY cubicle instructing them not to crouch on toilet seats.
but it doesnt hurt to add some phallic or other cosmetic features to the figures.

today i met thisnameistaken and kaz1, hehe :)

also, posting from uniwide with my laptop.
are you looking for a fight?

Does anyone have a large break between 2 and 5 on Mondays? I want a gym buddy. I get bored and self-conscious when I'm in there on my own.

Oh OK cos upper-body strength is the only possible consideration when choosing a gym buddy.

I don't even know what the fuck a squat is. I just wanted someone to muck around with in the gym and keep me entertained.

Extreme bad luck. Haven't met many new friends but met an international who is soooo thick skinned. Immediately ask for my contact and immediately and openly say he needs help with the subject and ask (demand rather) that I help him.
He started a msn convo with me and we chatted for a few second and I thought I might have misjudged him since he wasn't immediately asking for uni help. But then I realise he only wanted to find out whether I am a local student so he could then proceed to ask me to buy him concession ticket, what a !@#$ing user!!

Damn it, why cant I make any nice friends???
