It is usually released in the early part of May.

At the moment your school should be starting to get the forms for you to sign with your Year 12 enrollments on them. When these are finalised the BOS can set the exam timetable (or at least the draft timetable) and after problems with that are ironed out the final timetable sometime in the first two weeks in May.

Usually go for about two/three weeks- first test is 14th of October. I'd arrange a formal for around the 5th of November, bit later maybe. Stupid Board of Studies.

Yeah, it went to about the 13th, but i think it also started around like 18th or something.

Do people ever end up getting 2 tests on the same day?
This year my friend has her Jap beginners and German continuers orals on the same day. That's pretty harsh, imo =\

Frequently. A couple of years ago some kids even had three exams on the one day - 1x3 hours and 2x1.5 hours.

It is rarer to get two exams at the same time.

Do the School Certificate exams normally indicate the end of HSC exams?

The SC exams usually fall at the beginning of the last week of the HSC exams. i.e. Monday and Tuesday are SC exams but Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are back to HSC exams although one year they had both SC and HSC exams on the same day.
