yeah i agree, i think there are more important issues that the pope can address besides homosexuality. Most if not all homo's dont get to choose to be homo's. Its just how they were born/grown up. Why cant the pope talk about minimising carbon footprint or something like that. Im sure that would be a beneficial issue to discuss... Only thing is saving the world from man made destruction isnt exactly discussed in the bible. Why should the pope be limited to talk about things in the bible...

Of course the pope has a say although , the real question is does his word have any implications or affect on the person in question. Most likely it would be disregarded by a homosexual because it goes against his beliefs although it would be praised and taken in by a homophobic.

13 years of catholic propaganda said not one thing about climate change or the environment. There is no mention to it in the Bible or Church doctrine last time I checked. I even consulted a priest (this guy wasn't batshit insane, so he might not be a real one ) and he said environmentalism is not Church teaching at all.
