Why do so many students have such little respect for teachers nowadays? Teachers are very hardworking and always try to help their students so why is there so much disrespect for them?

Maybe because many teachers have so little respect for their students.

It's because teachers don't treat students like adults. You've got to give a little, to get a little.

And if you can't demand respect, maybe teaching isn't right for you?

I hold a lot of respect for just about all of my teachers, because they will take their own time to help you, and make sure you get something. They also keep us entertained and are lenient - fun.

Maybe because most teachers think they're too good and dont give a fuck about their students.

OR

because they cant tesch for shit (this is why I have no respect for my english teacher).

It's simply a case of teachers being punks.

If you stopped being punks, we'd give you respect.

Honestly... some are. The majority - simply no.

And besides, you've only been a teacher since the 29th of January, 2009, so just give your self some time to amass some experience.

Literally no respect, huh?

'Literally' is possibly the most abused word in the English language.
