Relationship between Current and Magnetic Field (1 Viewer)

I just built my A.C Generator. In my experimental report, my hypothesis was "Let 1 magnet = 1 Telsa (unit). As we increase the number of magnets around the coil, the current will increase."
When i tested my generator for current, it did actually increase as i added more magnets around the coil.
Now, I have to explain why this is, but i cannot find a direct relationship between current, and magnetic field strength.
Any help?

yeah, thats what i thought also, but i couldnt directly explain the link between increase in magnetic field strength = increase in current. I dont think there is an equation to prove it, it might just be some theory
