I don't either, because this year's candidates are all so roundly uninspiring. Will go in and whoever has a good enough knowledge of the union not to contradict themselves or promise something impossible will get my vote. Its sad after 2 weeks of campaigning and annoying everyone with flyers and speeches, you still dont know who to vote for...
A girl from the college who is heaps into it has convinced everyone here to vote yes to that.Very strong 'no' for the fair trade referendum.
She must be heaps into it except when it comes to properly researching the subject. Allthe literate trots are against it.A girl from the college who is heaps into it has convinced everyone here to vote yes to that.
She'll be the one in a giant paper cup costume tomorrow.
I don't know, she's a bit scary. She must be heaps into it except when it comes to properly researching the subject. Allthe literate trots are against it.
glad i got away from dinner before pat spoke- although it would have been good to heckle him a bit. He might be the only college candidate running for union this year, but we already have about 5 or 6 board directors that have lived at college (Pat bateman, courtney, bec, david mann, lizzy are the ones I can remember)....college doesn't have to have a pauls boy on board every year!Jesus, Pat coming in and ranting at dinner about needing someone for the colleges and he's the only one, then they're putting leaflets under our doors for sibella at midnight.
Deb posters everywhere. Girls running around ranting in tshirts.
GOSH, go away!
Unlike you, who was so inspiring that you only got elected when some dude died (as is my recollection). Then you showed up to the lowest number of meetings (per meeting) of any student candidate.I don't either, because this year's candidates are all so roundly uninspiring. Will go in and whoever has a good enough knowledge of the union not to contradict themselves or promise something impossible will get my vote.
I showed up to every single monthly board meeting during my term. I missed two special board meetings because they were scheduled at quite short notice and clashed directly with other commitments I'd made months ahead.Unlike you, who was so inspiring that you only got elected when some dude died (as is my recollection). Then you showed up to the lowest number of meetings (per meeting) of any student candidate.
Shame on you Justin Simon.
I loved the phone message from this afternoon, ahahaha. So true.glad i got away from dinner before pat spoke- although it would have been good to heckle him a bit. I must say though, campaigning hasn't really hit the colleges (or at least womens) this year like it did in the past- normally all the candidates would come and speak at formal dinner (but jane didn't let them this year- she said the only 'free spot' available was next week- tad late there!), and normally there would be a lot more flyers and posters around for different candidates. But no phone messages- phone messages were (i thought) supposed to be neutral!
didn't see you at all mateI put a V in the Viv box, drew a penis, and wrote "free meal lol" on my ballot form. ololol.
Me and a fellow patriot then went and hassled some people about their policies, asked Alistair's guy why they went over the spending limit, and then saw Alistair himself! He was a very nice fellow. Same with Tom. I feel bad that I did not vote for them.
