I'd suggest cambridge or fitzpatrick. Only two good ones that I know out there with a good level of questions. Surely you can keep maths in focus for a starting point, but at sometime you have to push yourself.

oh and for the benefit of this post,
Maths- Maths in focus (though i hear its crap in comparison)
Bio- Heinemann but also excel and biology in focus
Society and culture- heinemann again

to be specific, it was about sharing ideas relevant to the thread.
heaps of ppl got off topic and just wanted to debate about one comment i made that was i admit out of order. thats when i tried to get back to the point, not shut ppl down.

oh yeah, and i was a bit facetious if ppl repeated things already said. i wasnt seriously having a go at ppl, just stiring the pot for no valid reason. again, dont take it seriously.

we use maths in focus and we dont have a text book for geo

Cambridge for maths obvs
i have excel and heiniman for bio but they are just alright

for biology the preliminary excel books are amazing, and also available at most book shops.
we use heinmann at school and it's pretty alright

many people criticise excel for being too brief.

"maths in focus" is really good for getting the concept of things but is too easy when it comes to the questions..
