Fair enough. Must be doing crazy amounts to get $42k profit whilst <18 due to capital constraints (unless provided by family/parents at non-arms length) and capital gains tax, etc... impressive.he does stocks

lmao the western suburbshahaha whats the usual for your neighborhood then?
lol at that dude.
my friend in my grade bought a bmw for his first car...using his own money, 42k. fhaking looooaded man
Me too lolYear 12 student and saved up $42k from working? Or red packets & pocket money? LOL.. doesn't count as 'his own money' if that's the case. And if he did manage to save up $42k whilst in high school... it's bewildering actually. Can't figure out how (and I'm secretly very envious)!
Either way, the satisfaction of spending your own money (from working- not parents) on a car is unbeatable especially on a nice car. Normally people ask you 'did your parents pay for it?', and you get the smug feeling of being able to say 'no, I worked my butt off for it.'
Exactly, in the stock business yu gtta have money to make money. lolFair enough. Must be doing crazy amounts to get $42k profit whilst <18 due to capital constraints (unless provided by family/parents at non-arms length) and capital gains tax, etc... impressive.
As someone who actively trades with a pretty large balance, $42k is still a pretty substantial amount to make unless you are taking a lot of risk and punting (i.e. pure speculation willing to risk all capital through either penny stocks or uber leverage). And what a coincidence, trading paid for my Lancer too!you dont need a significant amount of money to make 42k
depends what you do,
a hit or miss on a 1c stock with 5k starting, can put you up 100-200% in a week if your lucky.
this is if you dont plug in a margin
i also traded shares, and payed for my first car, but his car is nicer.
i guess it depends when he started
when i started, march 09...
profits were inevitable
Someone should've bought JDM But then I just blew nearly $500 on a boost gauge!yeah, bit off topic, im still trading, woo sbm today
ive caught the modifying bug, but the thing is, all parts need to be imported from germany or italy, and at 500-600 euros per bumper, unpainted, the bodykit is quite expensive
trading to pay for this shit now lol
western sydney woo! hahalmao the western suburbs
woooaaahhh. First car? *Mines a shitbox *
Me too lol
Exactly, in the stock business yu gtta have money to make money. lol
Hmm so hes like our age'ish ay? Would yu happen to have a number? *flutters eyelids* jks jks
faster than the veyron too.*chuckles*
And I'd imagine it makes a million and a half horsepower too?
That really made me smile. Why would increasing the thickness of a bodykit by 4mm make it bulletproof. And more importantly, what is the point of a bulletproof bodykit? :S Unless you expect to have shooters underneath your car, all it would do (in theory if it was structurally strong) is slice through the rest of your car and damage more expensive components in an accident. *thumbs up*oh and he also is considering increasing the thickness of his car :| he told me for about 10k you can increase the car body kit's thickness by 4mm and apparently its better than bulletproofing.
and the only way you can tell that the territory has been modified to a mustang engine is coz of the exhaust pipe and the noise the car makes wen it drives.
*shakes head*
Umm...hes put a mustang 2008 v8, 2 cylinder engine in it :| i was like WTFFFFFF
Meh he's not too smart if he's trying to impress a chick with car mods... unless the girl is really into it, it's falling on deaf ears. No offence intended.ah dont mind me...
yeh it was a v8 mustang (the cylinder part is obviously wrong... mybad cant remembr wat it was)
and the rim part.. yeh i meant theyr too wide or som shit. i dunno im just saying wat HE said.
hey man ma little sketchy on this stuff. i know roughly wat things are but still need alot to learn :/
