I would save up more cash to make it a decent sleeper TBH
I agree.

Planning to build a car to be "written off" is a bloody stupid idea. Honestly, learning to be a better driver might be a better short term goal then causing a multicar pileup.

I think I misinterpretted your use of the word 'sleeper' then. I thought you were looking for something like a Corolla with a twin turbo engine or something to that effect.

Mmm. Sleeper usually means something inconspicuous and normal looking that has MASSIVE power etc.

Not just a resurrected car.

shut up retard seremify knows what a sleeper is

a sleeper is a standard looking car with a worked engine

it has nothing to do with track work at all

a p plater cant have a sleeper anyway because any p plate legal car will be shit and the best p plate sleeper is a peugeot 206gti

in conclusion
get an ef falcon gli and whack a turbo on it

LOL thanks.

And thinking about this thread a bit more, if the OP wanted a "sleeper" for track use (or maybe he's involved in those beat 'em up derbies? Destruction Derby anyone?), then you probably could get half cuts and written off cars for <$10k since they wouldn't need to be registered.

If you want a sleeper go for a manual 3.5L magna, high 14's with mild mods.
