I havent made up my mind yet whether to do B Com - prof. accg degree or whether to do a double degree with Applied Finance...

seems like according to university handbook, ACCG252 is a core unit for the double degree.... but if i do a single degree, then i get a choice between 252 and 253...

kinda confused about what to do... is 252 harder than 253?... i know it has very limited classes... but is the content the same?... because if i do 252, then i can decide about my degree program at the end of this year rather than now...

Ive hard many academic staff and students say that ACCG252 is way harder then ACCG253.

So I would do ACCG253.

Not the same like ACCG250 and ACCG251, ECON241 and ECON141...ACCG252 spots much more on practice while there are heaps of theoretical issues in ACCG253.

Last sem while ACCG253 had a shitty LIC and a forgettable (not quite hard but bullshit) final exam, ACCG252 had a huge one with 112 MCQs and several short answers.

It really depends. ACCG252 is not necessarily harder than ACCG253 and vice-versa.

I dare say there will be more classes 4 ACCG252. Nw m8.

P/S: The coming sem, ACCG253 supposedly has a very shitty LIC as well, Roslinda Lim. Take it into consideration coz this sem I have only attended 3 over 13 lectures due to the shit lectures delivered by an awful lecturer, Ryle Perera.

As far as I know 252 is a more mathematical version of 253, with the purpose of bridging the diffculty gap between the 2nd and 3rd year units. source: I did 252 last sem,
