I've enrolled for next semester but I was wondering if we need to bring our own guitar from the first day? I've read through the whole unit guide and found nothing about bringing a guitar.

It's been a while but bring the guitar just in case, i suspect you'll be going through the paperwork though, so won't get much done, but never hurts to bring it just in case

Thanks for the reply, are there pianos/drums/practice rooms there? I got the impression there was from the music course videos on youtube but you never know.

There are, but i'm unsure as to how you book them, probably through Dave (I usually record at home so don't really spend much time in the labs themselves but I know they're there I took photos of them lol)

Ohh I see, so in regards to bringing a guitar, is electric or acoustic preferred? Do they have amps there?

Acoustic, you'll most likely be in a room with a bunch of other people and when I took it, you usually practiced things as a group
