Death Cab For Cutie
One of the best in the industry. Ben Gibbard is an amazing songwriter, and every album they have released has been great. Mandatory song to listen to: Crooked Teeth

Phoenix
More rock based, but they have a really unique sound. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (their most recent album) was one of the best recent releases I’ve heard. Mandatory song to listen to: Lisztomania

The Postal Service
Ben Gibbard side project. One of my favourite bands, and pretty much the pioneers of the indietronica sound, and still probably the best. Mandatory song to listen to: Such Great Heights.
