Of all the books I read this year I really enjoyed Orwell's 1984, Joesph Heller's Catch-22 and Noam Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent...1984 was probably the best.

Despite reading words that I haven't encountered in almost a year now... I get the gist of it. And the gist of it is good, and rich, and filled with meaning. Intriguing, to say the least. All start, and no stop. Yet rich with imagery and description, as if each moment in the life is laid plain and analysed with a careful-- and I'll stop now =PJust read this two page story.
