This is still the case for Asia-Pacific Studies, and related degrees such as Asia-Pacific Security and Languages (Asia-Pacific). You can get 5 bonus points for studying an Asian language in years 11 and 12, and 2 points for European languages. This is only for single Asia-Pacific Studies, Asia-Pacific Security, and Languages, though.I got five bonus points for having previously studied a language going into the Asia-Pacific Studies degree, but that was in 2008 when UAIs were still cool.
