Here you can post and compare schedules/timetable with other students. We'll see who has the best and worst timetables!

My timetable is set up for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University (let's hope I can keep this timetable if I get a better second round offer). Personally I think it's a pretty good timetable considering I didn't get a chance to make it until after a lot of other students.

how do some people already have their timetables? When and how are we supposed to get them? And this is all before the enrollment preparation and orientation programs too.

Because draft timetables are already out, Google your uni + 2011 timetable and you just type in unit codes to see the times of the classes.

When you enrol, you're able to set up your timetable and enrol in individual courses that will give credit points for your degree.

hey when do we choose majors? do we select majors when we enrol, along with all the other units? and units are electives right?
When you enrol, you choose your courses/subjects that will make up the credit points that you must accrue to complete your degree. Each university has a different value for credits that you need to gain, so I won't tell you how many you need (but generally you'll enrol in 4 courses, or units).

Your major (and minor, if possible) is decided at the end of your degree and depends on what electives in terms of the units you have undertaken as study. If you end up completing a total mix, you will have a general major, but if it's all neuroscience electives in a science degree, then you'll obviously be granted the Neuroscience major with your degree in Bachelor of Science (just as an example).

So, you don't choose your major, but you can choose your subjects/electives that will make your major. And you get to choose these electives generally after the first year.
