Have a flick through the syllabus. It's really not that hard.

mainly about disease, how living things survive, and how life evolved etc. somewhat interesting, and pretty easy if you can memorise large chunks of crap. :)

if you really cbf looking at the syllabus:

prelim
-a local ecosystem: plants.
-patterns in nature: cells
-life on earth: how the world started.
-evolution of australian biota: fossils and australian animals.

hsc:
-maintaining a balance: humans and the importance of maintaing a balance. (homeostasis etc.)
-blueprint of life: genetics.
-the search for better health: infections and diseases.
and ONE elective core.

ive pretty much wrote the connotations associated with the topic, just to give you an idea of the SORTS of things youll be learning about.
thinking i deserve a rep since ive just started observing what it means. ;)
