The books cover the old syllabus but not the new one. How do we get this info if there are no bloody textbooks yet on the market that cover this shit?

The change was made in 2008.
The Sam Davis textbook covers everything & much more.
There's also the Excel IPT textbook which includes revision cards which is up to date.

Sam Davis because it goes into more detail so you understand it. Excel isn't detailed enough but it provides a good summary.

I haven't heard of the cambridge one but I have a feeling that it might have been written before the syllabus was changed.

Go to your local library & see if they have any of these IPT books. You may find ones that were written before the syllabus changed but you can still use them because some of the topics may be the same.
