Marks needed for 95+ ATAR (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

Recently I've been wondering what kind of HSC results I must be aiming for to reach my goal of 95 ATAR and my dream of 98 ATAR.

My subjects are:
Mathematics Ext 1
Mathematics Ext 2
Physics
English Advanced
Economics
Business Studies

Also, as a side note, what kind of raw mark would I be looking towards for the above subjects to reach my ATAR goals.

Any help appreciated

Roughly, 95 ATAR would mean you would need high 80s for your subs. 98 would mean low 90s.

well i got 95+ atar and my marks were:

MX1- 35/50 lol
Eng Adv- 85
Business studies- 88

my other subjects were different but i got two band 6s and two band 5s. Band 6 in maths.

Just where it says 'Choose your calculation' (left) choose 'Breakdown my target ATAR'. You'll need to put your goal ATAR in the University Cutoff section. Don't worry about finding the course. Just put the ATAR in.

since you do ext 2 maths, you'd need at least high 80s for all of them

go play with the atar calculators like we all probably did for a billion hours in year 12 ahaha

for 98, i think low 90s for all of them and maybe 1 screw up

all in all it's not at all hard to get 95

I know a girl who did maths, adv eng, SOR, CAFS, food tech and business studies

her atar was like 91. She got high 90s for cafs and food tech, 45/50 for SOR, and band 5 for everything else.

possibly band 4 for maths, cant remember.

she is now going to tafe lol.

If you got mid 80s in your subjects, you would still be able to get an atar of around 95!

by the looks off it, you should get 95+ comfortably with high 80s as hsc marks.
