Yes it does if you're lazy and if it's not financially viable to do something that is barely helping.
depends on how wealthy you/your parents are
though tbh I wouldn't want to waste money on something I don't need, though I'll be willing to spend more if it's gonna help :p

Why spend so much $$$ to go tutoring when you can just revise/do some actual study/hand in essays to your teacher? But if you have a shit teacher or you don't understand some of the concepts, well that's understandable. Personally, I used to have an English tutor in year 11 but it didn't really help me a lot.

I went to tutor for Maths Ext 1, Maths Ext 2, English (Advanced), Physics and Chemistry! 2010
The sciences and maths all in one place while English was at another
I procrastinate a lot so I went to tutor to get studying in
It worked out well :)

Tutoring is for pussies who lack the courage to make their own decisions.

Probably the most useful skill in the workplace outside of communication is critical thinking and decision making.

why bother going to school if you're getting tutored for 10 units of your HSC and you study better at tutoring?

Tutoring provides extra practice to develop your understanding of the rubric and the curriculum

So I wouldn't neccesarily say it's for 'pussies' seeing that most people who got tutored achieve an ATAR over 95
