An hour one way. 15 minutes walking to station, 25 minutes train, 20 minutes bus to UNSW. I recently found out theres a bus stop near my house, I'll have to trial it and see how much time i save.

Before I moved, it used to be this:

I'd say... 90 minutes each way.

So that's what... 3 hours?

Takes about 3-3.5 hrs to get to and from.
Car -> station
Station-> Central
Then Bus to UNSW

Sucks since they plan to complete construction of an extension line to Glenfield 5 minutes from my house when I finish UNI ><"

I live on campus, but it can take up to 15 minutes to walk to some of my classes.

I know. Our degree has around 28 contact hours as well, so it's not like he only had to come down occasionally. Granted if he finished at 5:30pm and started at 8:30am, he'd usually stay down in the area. But that was only once or twice a week. The remaining three or four days he would travel.

Used to take me 2 hours each way by train, now that i've moved it's just over an hour.

Once met a guy who was coming in from Bowral to Macq, so I think that's about 3 hours or so (one way).

By train I'm not sure. It wouldn't surprise me though. It takes about two hours to get into the city from Bowral, so factoring in time to get to the uni, it could well be around that.
