I remember on the unpatched version my friend was playing, he couldn't level up. for his starter pokemon, he was always on level 5 and get mad and then ragequit :L

yeah there was the experience thing that was hacked, after the language was, so my version is fully playable and all the important things and speech have been convurted to english, except for pokemon names, which is ok.

Oh my, I haven't played pokemon for ages, it's prob a good thing, I'd get so addicted. (Like seriously played all the time, different versions age 2-10) I stopped at Emerald, I think and started on Blue. (Arr blue...nostalgia)
