I am going to be that I over prepare and take much more stuff than I need (but I think that's just the sort of person I am; the most organised, OCD child).

I hope my first day is interesting and I like my lecturers and laboratory instructors.

The first day is always incredibly interesting because you'll be thrust into a completely new environment and everybody will bombard you with information. I enjoyed my first day because I realized normal people do exist - just not at my school lol.

Only thing I can say is tutes are awesome and people are just so much more friendly and approachable than high school.
