Anna is a girls name. Girl's don't seem to like bulking up, so trying to make them add muscle is like convincing hitler that jews are the superior race or something. Also, they lack testosterone- they don't build muscle easily. Since she just wants abs, a few good core exercises every day and running will suffice...lift weights (i.e squats and deads which work your core).. adding muscle mass will help burn calories and increase your metabolism, which will get rid of the layer of fat covering your abs.
plus, it'll give u an overall toned body.

Yeah, i find curls boring aswell, so i always chuck a few sets at the end of my workouts. My bi's get a solid workout from back exercises anyways^ Lifting is just gonna speed the process up, if added on to those things. Might as well tell her what's good for her if she doesn't know anything.
