LOL. I wonder if a girl would start looking like a dude if she used steroids frequently. ahaha

today i didnt do much but hey at least it was something

5x10 squats
3x10 shoulder presses

with 13kg

lift weights (i.e squats and deads which work your core).. adding muscle mass will help burn calories and increase your metabolism, which will get rid of the layer of fat covering your abs.

plus, it'll give u an overall toned body.
Anna is a girls name. Girl's don't seem to like bulking up, so trying to make them add muscle is like convincing hitler that jews are the superior race or something. Also, they lack testosterone- they don't build muscle easily. Since she just wants abs, a few good core exercises every day and running will suffice...

^ Lifting is just gonna speed the process up, if added on to those things. Might as well tell her what's good for her if she doesn't know anything.

p.s. h8 DB and BB curls, most un-fun exercises

What exercises do you find fun? I like the deadlift and shoulder press the most

Exactly, chicks dont have the testosterone levels to add slabs of muscle on.. so they wont 'bulk', but rather tone when working out. Focussing on compound exercises rather than just isolation ab exercises is more effective also, as you burn fat quicker. Yeah, i find curls boring aswell, so i always chuck a few sets at the end of my workouts. My bi's get a solid workout from back exercises anyways

For toning... I'm pretty sure it depends on how many reps they do. They do gain muscle, just not much.

Nice example. Damn she is hot. She can squat nearly her whole bodyweight. She is curving her lwoer back a lot though. Maybe it's for show only.

Squat and deadlift for me.
I find bicep curls and bench presses kinda hard to progress with.
