What ATAR am I looking at at this stage? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to know what sort of ATAR I should be expecting with these ranks - you guys seem so adept at predictions! I'm aiming for 99+, do you think that is achievable for me at the moment?

School Rank: ~45-55

Ancient History: 1/23
Economics: 1/15
English Advanced: 1/60
Geography: 1/12
History Extension: 1-2/10
Mathematics: 2/27
Mathematics Ext 1: 3-4/17

Last year we had 1 person with 99+, the year before we had 3 or 4.

If you hold those ranks, you'll be on 99 I reckon.

It is possible. Your chances are strengthened if you think your cohort is a "stronger" one. Like the 2009 cohort was obviously a strong one to get 3 or 4 99+.

Not fishing, I'm legitimately wondering.
Last year there was a girl who came first in most of her subjects and didn't get 99+ so of course I wanted to know if it is possible, and I know some of my subjects aren't scaled highly.

i think you have a good chance. just keep it up and put as much distance between you and 2nd place as u can

It's just up to how you go in the external exams that will really determine if you get 99+ since you are 1st in most subjects.

Remember, don't get complacent and rest on your laurels when you are first as you may drag behind relative to others in higher ranked schools, and when it comes to the hsc exam, although you are 1st, you might not get the mark you want.
