With my speakers when I'm at home, earphones when I'm out or feel like some quiet reading time at home.

At home: $300 headphones (expensive headphones make all the difference)
On train: iPod earphones

I'm disappointed in you all...
I stream my music from my home PC to my Playstation 3, then play it in all it's glory through my massive 7.1 surround sound speakers :music:

Upscaling stereo audio to 7.1 is stupid, satellite speakers part of a home theatre system are most likely shit and playing the same sound through 5 other speakers doesn't make the sound any better.

Decent headphones or dedicated music speakers + subwoofer are way better than what you have.

Anyway, at home I turn up old Sony 150W RMS bookshelf speakers, on the move I'll switch between Grado SR60i and Sony BT21G wireless headphones.

Definitely recommend Grados. Got a pair of Alessandro MS-1's. Great stuff it is, though I much prefer my AD700.
