they didn't invent the car by taxing the horse
hhahahahahah shit please tell me that's a quote from bolt's blogthey didn't invent the car by taxing the horse
What I'm more pessimistic about is the capacity of our government to facilitate an orderly transition to a low-carbon economy in the distant future. At that point in time the carbon-based energy sector and all those connected may well be in absolute chaos, and I think the political discourse at that point in time may be even more woeful then it is now. I've had the chance to interview a few local economic development professionals, and their 20 year predictions tend to be pretty abysmal in this regard. Many also think coal will be a dirty word in 20 years, which is also where a lot of support for a mining tax comes from. Right now there is certainly the will and the potential to lay down some pretty crucial infrastructure.I've yet to see any advantages from getting in early other than allowing more time for a transitioning economy
we'll see what goes

Yeah but when does reality get in the way of Labor Party policy? It's not a levy though.
The climate change push has nothing whatever to do with the climate or global warming.is global warming real?
I have my doubts as there is still winter
this is obviously proof we've been lied to
Yet you voted support in the poll anyway.Oddly there isn't any details of said proposed tax.
So i don't know where this division is coming from.
It is best to hold judgement until such details are out rather than speculating possibilities and making rash judgments on that.
