With the pacific solution Australia had complete control over the processing of the asylum seekers. We could ensure their conditions, health etc were adequate. With the Malaysia solution they are simply dumped in Malaysia and left to rot.

Where is the outrage from the left over all this?

THE Labor Left has declined to criticise Australia's refugee swap with Malaysia, as left-leaning activist group GetUp! said it has no plans to campaign against the deal.

The hypocrisy is mind boggling. They were going absolutely feral over the pacific solution. Getup! and the left generally got all hot and bothered over Abbott's refugee stance.

Yet when Labor implements a far worse policy, nothing but silence. They've shown themselves to be hollow, spineless and utterly morally bankrupt.
