English 1st task - Failed. Less than 50% (rank 50s / 63)
English 2nd task - 12/15 (rank 13/63)

Physics - 70/80 (rank 1/26)
Chemistry - 65.5/80 (rank 5-6/40)
2U - 70/86 (rank 12/41)
Mx1 - 44/74 (rank 15/21)
SOR - 32/50 (rank 20/40-50)
English - 20/30 (rank 31/63)

Cohort is alright. Majority of them are doing well in English. Most of the Mx1 students are performing very well.

What would be my average ATAR?? Would triple first place in Physics save my ass from getting above 95+???.... I major failed term 3 English assessment task. I'm preparing preemptive strike for the 4th assessment and the trials.

Push up english ALOT! you could pull off about 80 in english at this rate methinks

and I'd say about 90ish maybe

I believe I can ace the trials and HSC for English.


My recent assessment was a fail because I didn't prepare for it and only relied on my tutors notes. It was a listening task and I only listen to the extracts once and tried to memorise my tutors notes which resulted in failure.


I'm aiming for low band 6 or high band 5 for English now. Because my essays are solid.

Well i dont know about band 6, but yes, keep trying, and good luck, you may be surprised at how well you can do if you actually do the work.

How come you're only giving my a 90ish ATAR??? Although the english rank is bad... Other subject ranks are good overall...

because I cbf over-stating it with the ranks split across 3 sections.

If you give me an overall rank for each thing I can make it a little more accurate.

im going to guess ur overall ranks r probably:
phys - 1
chem - 3
2U - 7
3U - 14-16
Eng - 40-45
SOR - 8-10

going by those id say ur looking at about 93-94.5.
I just cant say 95 at the moment with that horrendous English mark,

You need to definitely start doing a lot more English study - focus more on your weak subjects. I would guess around 92 at the moment.

look u can still change it around, but u really have to ace the HSC for english

how much do u need for ur uni course?
