Okay so the subjects I do are:

Biology 2 units
Pdhpe 2 units
Business Studies 2 units
Mathematics 2 units
Maths Extension 1 1 Unit
English Standard 2 units
English Fundamentals 1 unit
Studies of Religion 1 unit

If I for example dropped bio and had 11 units, will studies of religion 1 count in the HSC? :/

Your best 10 units count (plus 2 Eng) towards the ATAR.

So to elaborate further, say SOR1 is your best subject in the HSC, that 1 unit will count, then since you have 11 units, only 1 unit of the worst subject would count.

No matter how many units you take, they always include the best TWO UNITS of english and the next best EIGHT units. (making a total of ten units that count towards your ATAR). If SOR was your worst subject, it will not count. If you bomb another two unit subject, they will only take one unit from that two unit subject.
