Personally the Carbon tax has been introduced really badly by the government, they could of introduced it alot better.

If you actually want to reduce emissions then an emissions trading scheme would trump a carbon tax.

Tax or cap n' trade, either way we need to do something, yet I would rather a tax, in Europe a cap n' trade policy has been implemented and fridge manufacturers are polluting more, yet storing these emissions, and by trading them they are making more money from that then making fridges. Also, why fight the failure of markets with more markets, sometimes demand and supply fail to accurately value goods and services

People support a price on carbon and there is no specific model that has popular support. This one is much more popular than Tony Abbott's direct action plan.
