WC in Qatar in 2022?

I wanna do B Commerce/B Science (Advanced Mathematics) @ UNSW (gawd so many people here want to do that course, won't even be a surprise that I'll know half of the people in the cohort, given that so many of my kind want to do it...)

otherwise dumb down my options to B Commerce/B Science, then B Science/B Education and B Science/B Music
Well, good to see lots of people doing Comm/Adv Maths. Remind me to say hai to you all so I can prepare you for SCIF1121 - if they run it next year, that is...

My cousin did actuary studies at uni. Apparently, there's a 50% dropout rate for first years because its that hard. But I mean, if you do get through the course then you're sweeeeeet.

Anyways, I want to do B of App Science (Diagnostic Radiography) @USYD. HOPEFULLY, I make it. The ATAR cutoff last year was 93 point something. I heard the job prospects were pretty good too. Was also considering Pharmacy but too much competition. And the process to get in seems so difficult. If I don't get in, I might do forensic science @UTS. All depends on the stupid ATAR.
Yeah, I have a few friends doing actuarial - they... all expressed to me their innate and horrible feeling they were going to fail. They didn't, they mostly scraped a pass.

Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences @ Macquarie.

If that fails, Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science until I can transfer to the aforementioned. If that fails...I don't know yet. :p

SCIF1121 is a course where you learn to be a good scientist. Bludge course.

also shadowdude what general education courses?
You don't do them in a double degree.

They are courses that are taken from a different faculty to create a more 'well rounded graduate'. Just random arts stuff like terrorism studies or basic accounting maths or whatnot. Just look 'em up in the handbook.

I'm looking to do a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in finance and corporate studies.

Although I'm still in year 11, my visionary future looks quite promising, due to my consistent results thus far in the year.

You have to do it in maths. You can do actuarial honours in the year after that.

also with the honours year, is it something that everybody who passes does or is it for a select group of high achievers?

If you do adv. maths, then you have to do honours in maths, it comes with the degree.
So, as long as you stay in the degree, (70+ WAM i think?), you'll be doing maths honours.

You will not have skills that produce anything of value as judged by the aggregate vaulations of individuals acting on the market.
I will have the qualifications I need to become an Anglican priest which is my dream tbh

afaik there are about 6 each year

you need to meet the minimum requirements, which is something like D/HD in all actuarial courses, to apply

For maths, you need at least 70 WAM, while for actuarial, generally those who do it have above 80 WAM. However, it really depends on whether you can find a supervisor who is willing to take you on.
