You probably have to be in the bottom echelons to get 70 then. Not bottom bottom but in that area.

I just want to get into something like Bachelor of Arts and UWS offers that course for an atar of about 70, so that's where I plan to go for now. I don't have high expectations for myself, don't want to get into stuff like medicine/engineering or law or commerce or any of that.

Being ranked in the top 60% for each subject should be more than enough

MGHS! To get a 70, you probably only need to be in the top 70% of students in your subjects approximately.

to get an atar of 70 or above in my school....u would have to be somewhere in the top 120 or so...mostly cause its a selective......but for ur school....id say in the top half should guarantee that atar imo
