Hey guys! Post your most feared/ the one you find most challenging/ the one you just hate because it's hard prelim and HSC topics for maths extension 1 here!
well i dont no whether ill find it hard bcuz i hvent fully started it yet, but binomial probability is supposed to be the hardest part of the 3U course.Hey guys! Post your most feared/ the one you find most challenging/ the one you just hate because it's hard prelim and HSC topics for maths extension 1 here!
oh really?, sorry bout that i hadnt actually done it yet i was just going of what a state ranker told me about binomial probabilityBinomial probability is easy, binomial theorem on the other hand can get very tricky!
Binomial Theorem is probably my favourite topic!Binomial probability is easy, binomial theorem on the other hand can get very tricky!
im the opposite- physical apps my fave...hate binomialBinomial Theorem is probably my favourite topic!
I'm not so much a fan of the Physical Applications of Calculus...
You hate calculus?Yeah binomial probability is pretty easy...really straightforward. Permutations and combinations are harder (the more complex ones) but they're more fun haha.
I hate everything to do with drawing graphs.
I like diff/int if that's what you mean.You hate calculus?
I'd like to see your face when you meet a 4U graphing questionI like diff/int if that's what you mean.
But I hate drawing the graph. Like it's fine when they say find the sp/inflexion points/domain/range etc. but when they say e) now sketch this graph... or here's f(x), sketch f''(x) I'm like fml -takes forever-... shm, inverse, etc... I swear I spend twice as long on Q4 and/or Q5 than Q7 (when q7 has no graphs) ;_;
Parametrics and projectiles are okay though, since they always look the same... lol.
you do 4unit, and you find 2unit series hard?Loan repayments, Superannuation, Time Payments URGHHHHH Just that whole part of series tbh.
Oh man, I went to tutoring accelerated in year 11 and we were learning 4u stuff... complex numbers was okay at first, but then they told us about conics and how those were the main two topics..... and I took a flick through this book... and it was ALL GRAPHS I swear = mindfuck. Back then, I had no idea how to visualise a rotation about x/y axis so how could I fathom this 4u crap hahhaha.I'd like to see your face when you meet a 4U graphing question
