They prob do, but not enough. Its only trials so they prob like ah its alright. 3 checks is enough. Whereas the HSC would prob be checked by 20 different people 40 different times.

Nah man i tested the last box value and it was in radians so i knew i had to use radians XDDD

It was absolute value so | x-a | < or equal to b
The rule is that -b < |x-a| < b
so if b = 3 and a = 9
its -3 < x-9 < 3 -- (now plus 9)
6 <(or equal) x <(or equal) 12 (from the line given u can see that)

What did you guys do for that university scholarship question?

Was it annuities or loan repayments?

I got stuck on the An part because I initially thought it was loan repayments, then decided it was annuities, but now I think it was loan repayments. (luckily I only put one line through it, so I might be able to get a mark or 2 for it).

i substituted what they gave us in both radian and degree mode then worked out it was in radian, then solved. hopefully there were no silly mistakes!
