I'm in yr 10 and considering 3 sciences ... Is it difficult and time consuming, since I am doing Preliminary x1 Maths and 2U English???

I don't see how doing three sciences would be any more difficult than say two sciences and modern history for example.

No, it's not difficult. The good thing about 3 sciences is that they all link in one way or another. It's kinda exciting. Highly recommended!

Yeah, I'm doing two sciences, honestly it's not THAT big a deal to do three, there are quite a few people I know who do that.
But don't pick them unless you really enjoy all three a lot because you might get bored easily of just doing science all the time and that's not gonna get you the marks you want.

Ancient workload and time put in is ridiculous if you want to do really well.
I do phys and ancient and spend way more time on ancient.

Nah, some courses are significantly easier and require way less effort...

But yeah, comes down to where your strengths are. If you're good at science and love it, then go for it. But otherwise, the next 2 years of your life will be nothing but science and maths (and obligatory english)

Care to provide an example? You can't say that one particular subject requires more or less effort than another without bias.

Business studies. You just need some basic knowledge and the rest of the content is common sense.
Even case studies can be completely hypothetical and made up on the spot.

Whereas maths ext2, i don't do it, but everyone i know who does says it takes up around 50% of their study time.

I'd say
PDHPE + Biology + Chemistry (PDHPE has correlations with Biology so the workload is reduced by a bit), if you want to do Medicine!

Lol you don't need anything for medicine. I have a friend who did just humanities and maths who is currently doing med.

Although, Medicine has no real pre-requisites in most universities, it could be helpful doing the subjects I suggested.

You are obviously good at business studies and already had background knowledge of how businesses work, that's why it requires less effort for you.

I don't think I've done a single bit of 4U study besides maybe the week before an exam but still manage 90+.

Worst subject ever.
Except I did get to dissect part of a sheep today so our teacher could use his 'endoscope' [that thing plumbers also use] because I was the only Bio student.
I swapped from Earth to Phys at the beginning because some coaching guy said I needed it for Med. >_>
