just finished reading memoirs of a geisha a.k.a. memoirs of a dirty slut.
am i the only one who finds sayuri a selfish little slut for rejecting nobu (who has nothing else going for him) for the chairman (who has a wife ffs)?

also i didnt like that she never found out the fate of satsu. and that all those men she entertained and slept with were like 40 years her senior. and that 50 year old who paid 11000 yen to pop her cherry when she was like 15... and had a collection of hymen blood from all the other young girls who's virginity he bought. strong pedo themes in this book. disgusting.

The Blank Slate. Moving on to either Beyond Good and Evil or Iliad. Although I'm up for other suggestions

Just finished 'The Stranger', by Albert Camus, loved it! I started the Trial, by Kafka, it's really good so far, I like it so much more than The Metamorphosis.

Finished reading I Am Legend - Richard Matheson
Much better than the movie adaptation, it actually makes sense.
