Am I right in assuming that I am able to drop MX1 at this point in time, even following the trials as long as it's before the 16th September (last chance to make amendments to Students Online with regards to HSC entries)?
Thanks :)

Personal experience or is this just something you've heard?
To be honest, I don't wanna take any chances because I seriously want to do this and I've been putting it off for far too long as it is. If I missed out on the chance because of a cut off date I will fume.

But thank you for the reply :)

Okay, thanks heaps guys. That's good to know :)

And I would ask my school but they tend to have a habit of not allowing things that are more than possible. Now that I know for sure I'll definitely be insisting that this actually goes ahead rather than it being "out of their hands".

Personally, I'd advise just doing the exam anyway. It really can't hurt having that one extra unit that might end up scaling higher than one of your other units. Plus, you have worked in it for the whole year and you'd just cut it off like that?

It's your decision but I was wanted to show what I thought of you dropping a subject like MX1 when you won't really see much different at worst and can boost your ATAR in some cases.
