Overall course position & Course Average
English Standard: First (80%)
Mathematics 2u: Second (92%)
Physics: First (90%)
Chemistry: First (95%)
Biology: Second (86%)

Trial Result
English: 66% (LOL fucked up there..)
Mathematics 2u: 84% (Not pleased again..)
Physics: 83% (ehh)
Chemistry: 92%
Biology: 91%

Aware my english sucks but luckily enough in a way the entire standard cohort sucks, definitely glad I dropped from advanced because the kids up there are killing it haha.

I'd say 96+. As your coming forst in most of your subjects, your ATAR will mostly be determined by your performance in the externals.

@OP - if everyone in standard is doing poorly and everyone in advanced is doing well, it's better to be in advanced. That's like saying you would rather come second at the last ranked school in the state than come average in James ruse.

Yeah I considered this for a while however my english is pretty poor and I feel the time I would of spent trying to manage to come even close to average in advanced would have affected my marks in the other subjects.

Do you guys think the marks I got in my trials would be sufficient to secure a good atar if I matched them in the externals?
Thanks for your help guys appreciate it, ~95 is more then what I need so hopefully I can get up there and earn me some bragging rights haha.
