For the independent paper it was - the CSSA can be on any aspect really. Let's hope they're nice!

Abolition of slavery is to do with the changing recognition of HR's, or whatever that dot point was about HR's history.

The contemp. issues are: (and yes, you only need one)

3. Investigate a contemporary issue which illustrates the promotion and/or enforcement
of human rights.

• Issues could include:
– genocide
– treatment of refugees
– asylum seekers
– child soldiers
– abuse of children
– torture
– capital punishment
– arbitrary detention
– religious discrimination
– discrimination against women
– exploitation of workers
– human trafficking and slavery
– limitations on free speech

i hated the consumer law question

Received my marks today for the independent and I was quite satisfied. Preparation for the exam was not as well as I hope, but i found the option questions were very general and very easy to write 1k+ words. (Consumers & Family for me, attempted part B for each). Section II of the paper was quite general and predictable also.

And note, I only read this thread after my exam. I did not know the questions prior to sitting the exam.

Only thing that annoyed me was that i got 17/20 for MC... Anyone else have their independent marks back yet?
