Hey guys,
I've been trying to sort out my units for year 12 and am a little stuck. At the moment I am doing and scoring:
-3u Maths (around 70% in ext 1, 90% in 2u)
-3u English (around 85% in ext 1, 80% in 2u)
-Modern History (around 95%)
-Ancient History (around 90%)
-Economics (around 75%)

I was thinking in year 12 I could do the following, but wasn't sure if the work load would be unreasonable or too hard.
-4u Maths
-3u English
-Modern
-Ancient
-History Extension
That's 12 units with 4 extension subjects. Worth a go?

Have a go, it's 12 units so not like you're doing 13-14, drop one of the extensions if it becomes too much.

I found that having multiple extension subjects can be an advantage in some way. at the end of the day, you only need to study for four different subjects. plus the enormous scaling in extension subjects is a bonus.

We can't tell you if it's worth a go or not. We can tell you that if it's worth a go or not if we had to do it.

So the correct thing to do is - do it, and if it's too hard, drop subjects. Simple.

Now if you're asking me if I think those subjects is too many if I had to do them myself, no.

The question posed - differs from person to person. I believe you should take up 12 units and later on if you find it difficult to manage then drop it.
