So what? The majority of the population is Muslim, so the city landscapes are based on Islamic architecture, the government being secular or not isn't going to be the deciding factor in what makes a country beautiful. The Islamic countries you're most probably referring to are Iran and Saudi Arabia, correct? Well it's no wonder most people don't see them as beautiful countries, sand and dust is generally not favoured.

Italy --

Italy yes! , but the shit is so expensive compared to the aussie dollar. It's worth taking a holiday there every once and a while. Must be experienced at least once in your life! It's simply amazing.
