Eng Adv: 5/50 88/100 75/100 (stupid exam)
Eng Ext1: 6/16 41/50 33/50
Eng Ext2: 3/8 45/50 n/a (Based on Major Work)
Studies Of
Religion 1: 2/83 46/50 42/50
Maths 2U: 10/71 89/100 80/100
Maths 3U: 27/39 32/50 30/50
Chemistry: 8/14 75/100 70/100
Physics: 6/16 85/100 78/100

School Rank: 2010= 190 2009= 184

(Eng Ext 2 difference between 3rd and 1st = 1.5%
Chemistry and Physics are extremely tight with quite a few tied positions)

BUT:

Do not worry about your school assessment marks (internal marks). Maximum movement is plus minus 3~4. I am not a school teacher but I have 2010 Higher School Certificate results (P. High School in Sydney NSW, Physics). School Rank is around 100~150.

For Example:

Student Number: ****53**
Name: T**** Geor*** W**n*
School Assessment: 56 <- Pretty low, third lowest mark
Moderated Assessment: 89 <- follows your external mark
External Examination Mark: 93 <- very well done
Higher School Certificate Mark: 91
Band: 6 <- Easy Band 6

I did my Higher School Certificate back in 2009 at Sydney Boys High School. My estimate was mid-85 but I end up getting 99.25. What does this mean?

Please note that it is not 50% 50%. Your Higher School Certificate is your mark. How you perform on that day is what you are going to get. Easy?

The 1.5% difference rounds up to a 2% difference
